Chicago! You make me so happy! I love this city. In April 2016 I traveled to the Windy City to work on what *I can safely say* was my favorite project to this date but also the coldest! The Soho House Chicago and Threadless teamed up in early 2015 to showcase monthly rotating murals from local and not so local Street Artists. (I was the not so local)... The Northern and Southern corners of The Soho House Chicago are prime real estate for public art in the West Loop neighborhood. The West Loop is known for it's "restaurant row" and has a quickly emerging vibrant art scene. Galleries are tucked in everywhere amid industrial buildings and street art is showcased practically around every corner. The West Loop is a cultural hot spot and I am honored to have had my art featured on two walls that amazing Chicago street artists have graced with paint. It took my two days to complete the two corners and A LOT OF WARM LAYERS. I had to stay a few extra days to wait out a snow storm and cold weather to finish the project... A few extra days in Chicago was greatly welcomed.
